UVDI's V-RAY GRID™ to Debut at the 2010 AHR Expo
UVDI will officially unveil their new V-RAY GRID Healthy Building System at the 2010 AHR Expo in Orlando, Florida later this month. The AHR Expo was chosen to introduce this innovative indoor air quality ultraviolet (UV) technology because of the shows enormous draw. This year, 25,000 visitors are expected to attend from more than 120 countries.
HVAC professionals attend the AHR Expo each year to learn about the latest products that improve IAQ and energy efficiency as well as research new sustainable technologies. The new V-RAY GRID Healthy Building System from UVDI hits the mark for each of these important objectives.
UVDI's V-RAY GRID Healthy Building System implements ASHRAE's suggested general strategy regarding use of UVGI in ventilating ducts for reducing transmission of airborne infectious diseases. The system utilizes advanced ultraviolet germicidal irradiation technology to:
• Provide improved IAQ through simultaneous airstream and surface disinfection.
• Reduce HVAC energy consumption by maintaining clean coils.
• Lower HVAC maintenance costs by eliminating costly coil cleaning.
“The unique design of the V-RAY GRID allows for easy installation in almost every HVAC system out there,” reported Paul Cochrane, Public Relations Manager for UVDI. “It is ideal for coil irradiation and moving air stream disinfection and it provides unparalleled features and benefits that are sure to attract a lot of attention at the AHR Expo.”
